Kester Keith Walters, age 75, of Orrum, NC passed away peacefully the morning of March 29, 2023 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC.

Mr. Walters was born July 12, 1947 in Robeson County. He served in the US Air Force.

Keith was an avid church attender and loved sharing the Lord to anyone who would listen. He was one of the most caring people who would do anything he possibly could to help anyone who needed it. This past year has been a struggle to get out and visit and especially walk and travel like he so enjoyed.

Through his career he worked at many tractor and farm supplies as parts manager. As a younger adult, he worked for Bennett's Trucking Inc. for almost 24 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Bobby Keith Walters and the late Mary Frances Floyd Walters, his late wife Brenda Britt Walters, a son, Carlton Keith Walters, and a step daughter, Jennifer Britt Brooks.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Paris Walters of the home; a grandson Aydan Patrick  Morgan (Jennifer) of the home; one son Mark David Walters of Orrum NC, one daughter Kimberly Walters Gause (Lorne) of Bladenboro Nc, four granddaughters, Lillie Rayne Gause, Tinsley Walters, Jessica Blackwell Lewis (Tim), and Candace Love Williamson; four grandsons, Tyler Keith Walters, Hunter Mark Walters, Brennan Britt Gause, and Christopher Gage Chavis; eight Great grandchildren; two brothers, Ronnie Walters (Pam) of Lumberton NC and Timmy Walters (Robbin) of Fairmont NC; three sisters, Brenda Walters Arnette (Curt) of Lumberton NC, Frances Pamela Walters (Ricky) of Lumberton NC, and Tammy Walters Ivey (Jeff) of Evergreen NC; and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family. Keith also has one very special friend that was always there anytime he needed him, Mr. Bill Register.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services 1549 Marion Stage Rd. Fairmont, NC. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel. Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery.
