Kerwin Garrett Hunt, age 41, of Rowland, NC died Friday, January 15, 2010.

He was born in Robeson County, NC on June 17, 1968 to William Gary Hunt and Etiska Sampson Hunt. He was a carpenter/home builder.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Hazley Hunt; and his maternal grandparents, Wilbert Sampson and Gertrude Lowry Sampson.

Mr. Hunt is survived by his father, William Gary Hunt of Lumberton, NC and his mother, Etiska Pinchbeck of Lumberton, NC; his wife, Ava Hunt of the home; children, Garrison Dakota and Kieran Garrett Hunt of the home; paternal grandmother, Jeanette B. Hunt of Lumberton, NC; brothers, Ralph Allen Harrell of Rowland, NC and Jeremy Hunt of Fairmont, NC; and a sister, Randa Renee Hunt of Charlotte, NC.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at New Bethel Methodist Holiness Church in Rowland, NC with the Revs. Timmy Hunt and Johnny Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in New Bethel Church Cemetery.

The visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2010 at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont and at other times at 100 Grantham Loop Road in Rowland, NC.
