Mr. Kenneth Julius Tyner, age 72, of Lumberton, North Carolina, went to be with Jesus on Friday, March 13, 2026 to celebrate his birthday. He was born in Lumberton, North Carolina, to the late Julius Tyner and the late Louise Coleman Tyner.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory with his wife of almost 53 years, Yvonne Fowler Tyner; one sister, Linda Davis of Lumberton, NC; two nieces, Robin Phillips and Lynn Cox; one nephew, Shane Wilkins; several great-nieces and great-nephews; two close friends, Cotton Fuller and Jamie Oxendine; a special first cousin, Johnnie Lynn and Duke Van Desande and his two fur babies, Girlie and Buddy.

A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc, 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 2:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street, Lumberton, NC 28358, with Chaplain John McNair officiating.
