Mr. Kenneth Wayne Pittman, 77, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023, at his home. He was born in Robeson County, NC on March 18, 1946 to the late Marvin & Essie "Bess" Pittman. He was a first sergeant of the U.S. National Guard and he will be remembered for his work as a conservationist with U.S. Dept. of Agriculture.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William "C.B." Pittman, and his sisters: Elizabeth "Lib" Boyd, Anna Laura Pittman, Patricia Pittman, Dorthey "Mig" Bowen, and Rosa Lee Kinlaw.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra M. Pittman of the home; his sons, Kevin Pittman (Melissa) of Richfield, NC and Matthew Lovette (Katherine) of the home; his daughter, Jennifer Wilson (Ben) of Southport, NC; his grandchildren: Kirsten, Aubri, Kinsley & Logan Pittman, Solomon & Nolan Herring, and Khloe Perry of the home; his brother, Larry Pittman (Nancy) of Lumberton, NC; and numerous extended family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church, 5089 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
