Kenneth Gray Hedgpeth, 69, died Friday, September 12,
2008 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. He was born to the late Thaddeus and
Cordelia Andrews Hedgpeth on February 12, 1939 in Robeson County.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Sara Tolar; and brother, Lynn Hedgpeth.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Hedgpeth of the home; 3 sons, Michael Hedgpeth of
the home, Randy Dyson and wife, Charlotte of Lacey, WA and Jody Dyson of
Lumberton; 2 daughters, Michelle Whittington and husband, Max of Lumberton and
Angela Reeves of Lumberton; 2 brothers, James Hedgpeth and wife, Linda and Wayne
Hedgpeth and wife, Johnsie both of Lumberton; 1 sister, Neta Rose Stephens and
husband, George of Fairmont; 3 grandchildren, Chelsea, Dana and Jordan.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at Floyd
Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dennis Harrell officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 16, 2008 from 3 to 4 p.m. at Floyd
Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.
