Kendrick Ray Barfield, age 33, of Fairmont passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC.

He was born June 29, 1988 in Robeson County.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jammy Locklear; his maternal grand parents, Walter "Nussie" Hunt and Blonnie Mae Hunt; his paternal grandfather, Scott Barfield.

He is survived by his parents, Kenneth Ray Barfield of Fairmont, NC and mother, Shevie Jean Locklear also of Fairmont, NC; his grandmother, Shirley Barfield of Orrum, NC; a sister, LaShonda McCollum and husband Eddie of Red Springs, NC; a special aunt, Bonnie Faye Hunt of Fairmont; two nieces, Savannah Tufino of Laurinburg, NC and Vanessa Tufino of Red Springs, NC; a nephew, Jammy Jackson of Red Springs, NC; a great niece Mariah Swinnie of Laurinburg, NC; a close personal friend,Dale Lockley; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont, NC from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 3, 2022 at 3:00 pm at McDonald Pentecostal Holiness Church 4291 McDonald Rd Fairmont, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
