Mr. Kendale Scott, age 49, of Lumberton, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019. He was born in Robeson County on December 9, 1969 to the late Cleveland Hunt, Sr. and Barbara Scott Hunt.

Along with his father, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Chavis and Cleveland Hunt, Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Hunt of Lumberton; his daughter, Sequoia Locklear of Lumberton; four grandchildren; one brother, Timothy Hunt of Lumberton; five sisters: Tammy Cummings of Lumberton, Angela Hunt of Fairmont, Barbara Evett of Lumberton, Nancy Hunt of St. Pauls, and Christine Hunt of Tar Heel; his fiancée, Oneita Hall of Fayetteville; four aunts: Annabelle Hunt of Shannon and Letha Mae Scott, Sarah Frances Locklear, and Annie Ruth Hunt, all of Fairmont; and two uncles, Ronald Scott and Randolph Scott, both of Fairmont.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday, July 28, 2019, from 2:00-3:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton.

Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, also in the chapel, with Rev. Kenny Mitchell and Pastor Joe Noel officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens in Lumberton.
