Mr. Kelly Fields Johnson, age 55, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at VA Medical Center of Durham. He was born in Robeson County on August 16, 1960. He was a veteran of the US Navy and he was formerly employed as an industrial supervisor. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Bruce Johnson; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paisley Britt; and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Johnson. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Johnson of Lumberton; his fiancée, Kimberly Baxley of the home; his daughter, Madeline Gayle Johnson of the home; and his step-son, Timothy Michael Vernon of the home. A time of visitation will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2015, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at 4:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel.
