Kellie Rae Stone Nance, age 65 of Proctorville passed away Monday, June 2, 2014 at Duke Medical Center in Durham. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 11:00AM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Steve Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. She was born July 24, 1948 in Robeson County. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.K. Stone and Sadie Rae Rowan Stone; a sister, Rita Ann Stone; and a grandson, Russell Nelson Smith. She is survived by her husband, David Russell Nance of the home; two sons, Jason Douglas Elliott and fiancé Lisa Proffitt of Proctorville and Shannon Kevin Elliott and wife Cindy of Proctorville; two sisters, Betty Lou Leggette of Proctorville and Glenda Jean Haywood of Lumberton; two step-daughters, Stephanie Nance Johnson and husband Jody of Fair Bluff and Felicia Nance of Lumberton; and five grandchildren, Victoria Lynn Elliott, Austin Douglas Elliott, Ashley Nicole Elliott, Sumer LeAnn Elliott, and Niyah LaShae O'Donnell.
