Keith Spaulding of 57 Mallard Drive in Lumberton, NC, son of Ms. Darlene Spaulding, born April 12, 1980, went peacefully to sleep in the arms of Jesus October 25, 2015 at Southeastern Health. Keith was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of 11 months and lived a happy, rich, joyful life for 35 years. His smile touched many hearts; a man who never spoke words, spoke volumes through actions and eye contact. Keith is missed by all who knew him. Keith was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Daniel L. and Ida J. Spaulding; grandmother, Annie V. Spaulding; one aunt, Rebecca J. Hunt; two, uncles, George M. Spaulding and Jackie Spaulding. Besides his mother, Keith is survived by his sister, Christina Spaulding (Jesus Hernandez) and children, Tiffany, Brittany, Ethan, and Kelsey; his brother, Kevin Spaulding (Leslie Oxendine) and his children Jamison, Joshua, Kaitlyn, and Cameron; his uncle, Bennie F. Spaulding of the home; two great-nephews, Kolton and Elijah; and a host of many family and friends. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 east 5th Street in Lumberton. The funeral service will be on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. James Chavis and Larry Spaulding officiating. Burial will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens.
