Keith Ray Parker, Sr., 62, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017, at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. He was born on June 3, 1954 in Robeson County. He graduated from Orrum High School in 1972 and was a lifetime member of Long Branch Baptist Church. Keith was also an avid Tar Heels fan and was formerly the General Manager of Ted Parker Home Sales in Lumberton.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Lee "Bud" Parker, and one brother, Harold Wayne Parker.

He is survived by his mother, Grace Britt Parker of Lumberton; his wife, Sylvia Hicks Parker of the home; two sons: Keith Ray Parker II of the home and Jason Britt Parker and wife Kristin of Lakeland, FL; three brothers: Ted Parker and wife Vicky of Lumberton, Jeff Parker and girlfriend Dee Barcome of Little River, SC, and Timmy Parker and wife Denise of Lumberton; three grandchildren: Justin Parker, Ella Parker, and Michael Parker; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will take place on Monday, January 9, 2017, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton. The family will also receive friends at the home of Cyndy Andrews, 42 Reel Drive in Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joe Bounds and Pastor Robert Weathers officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens.
