Keegan Sue Ward, 19, of Lumberton, NC died on Sunday, July 31, 2011. She was born in Tulsa, OK on February 4, 1992.

Keegan is a graduate of Lumberton High School. She enjoyed participating in sports, especially soccer. She enjoyed mission trips and loved to travel. Keegan loved her family and cherished her many friends. She loved to read and express the beauty in her life through painting and writing. She was free-spirited and always the life of the party.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Joe Pete Ward.

Ms. Ward is survived by her parents, John and Megan Ward of the home; Michael Deo of Tulsa, OK; maternal grandparents, Sonny and Polly Parrish of Lumberton; paternal grandmother, Lillian ??Pete? Ward of Lumberton; sisters, Caneel, Taylor and Micha; brothers, Jace and Brent; aunts, Suzanne Dover of Lumberton and Carmen Kerr of Tulsa, OK; uncle, Joe Ward and wife Reneé of Raleigh; and numerous cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Lumberton with Dr. David Elks and Dr. Kevin Head officiating. Entombment will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening, August 2, 2011 at the home located at 307 Londonderry Drive in Lumberton from 6:00-8:00 PM.
