Ms. Kathy H. Norton age 59, passed away Monday, March 21, 2016 at her home in Fairmont.

A visitation will be held Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont and at other times at 1582 School Rd. Fairmont, NC 28340.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 25, 2016 at 2:00PM at Reedy Branch Baptist Church in Fairmont with Revs. Hilton Woodell and Dwayne Locklear officiating.

Burial will follow in Reedy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was born May 5, 1956 in Scotland County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dudley Hunt and Ida C. Hunt; one sister, Rebecca J. Sampson; and one brother-in-law Wilson Chavis.

She is survived by one son, Hensley Norton (Jacqueline) of the home; one grandson, Hensley Norton Jr.; one granddaughter, Makenzie K. Norton; four sisters, Mary K. Chavis, Linda F. Locklear (Thomas), Mattie Locklear (Larry), and Patsy Hunt (Randy); nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
