Mrs. Kathryn "Kitty" Stecker Tudor, age 65, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Duke University Hospital in Durham. She was born on August 30, 1950 in Dallas, TX to the late Charles William Stecker, Sr. and Shirlee Lawhon Stecker. Kathryn was formerly employed as comptroller for the Chamber of Commerce. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Kurt A. Stecker. Kathryn is survived by her husband, John Stinson Tudor of the home; three daughters: Dawn Tudor Rabon (James) of Stedman, NC, Kelly Tudor of Hope Mills, and Kate Tudor Martens (Dan) of Fayetteville; two brothers: Charles William Stecker, Jr. of Littleton, CO and Karl B. Stecker of Bellevue, NE; one sister, Sandee Stecker Story of Grantham, NH; eight grandchildren: Alexandra, Ethan, Jason, Christopher, Layne, Noah, Sydnie, and Johnathan; and two great-grandchildren: Christian and Brody. A time of visitation will take place prior to the service on Saturday, September 26, 2015, from 12:00-1:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM in Floyd Memorial Chapel with Dr. Charles Stecker and Rev. Chad Stecker officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Odum Baptist Children's Home, 200 North Odum Street, Pembroke, NC 28372.
