Mrs. Kathryn Hardin Edwards, age 82, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019, at The Carolina Inn in Fayetteville. She was born on February 7, 1937, in Robeson County to the late Forrest Beverly Hardin and the late Bertha Gertrude Bledsoe Hardin. She was a homemaker.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel G. Edwards, Jr.

She is survived by four daughters: Sandra Edwards Wheeler (Marvin) of Raleigh, Donna Edwards Hicks (Terry) of Chattanooga, TN, Peggy Edwards Burnette (Eddie) of Ft. Mill, SC, and Laurie Edwards Ashley (Rae) of Hope Mills; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Forrest B. Hardin, Jr. of Hope Mills and Steve Hardin (Glenda) of Lumberton; and one sister, Mary Ann Hardin Robinson of Fayetteville.

A private service, with close family and friends, will be held at a later date.
