Kathleen Hendren Galloway Scarboro, age 96, of Lumberton, passed peacefully to be with the Lord and her son, Danny, on Monday, September 16, 2024.

She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Sandra, loved her son-in-law, Jerry, and treasured her time spent with her granddaughter, Alexandra. Also, she cared deeply for her very special extended family members, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A receiving of friends will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 1:00-2:00PM at Godwin Heights Baptist Church in Lumberton.

A funeral service will follow the visitation on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 2:00PM with Pastor David Hawes and Rev. Dr. Bill Young officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
