Miss Katherine "Kat" Annette Parker, age 36, of Fairmont, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, N.C.

Kat was born October 15, 1982 in Robeson County.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jeffery Inman Parker; her paternal grandparents, Leo and Kathleen Parker; her maternal grandparents, Zide and Edith Locklear; her step father, Robert Stanley; three uncles, Alan, Dewery and Boyd Dale Parker.

Kat leaves to cherish her memories, her special longtime friend, James Chavis of Fairmont; her beloved son, Olan Gates Chavis who was her life; her mother, Judy Ann Stanley of Rowland; one beloved brother, Christopher Zide Stanley of Rowland; an adopted son, Jayden Oxendine of Rowland; five aunts, Diane Locklear of Rowland, Sylvia Locklear, Delois Caulder, Sallie Parker and Nancy Parker all of Fairmont; two uncles, Ronnie and Bobby Locklear both of Fairmont, and a great host of cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 6-8pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 14, 2019 at 3pm at Benson Chapel Baptist Church with Revs. Tyler Chavis and Johnny Locklear officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
