Karen Miller, age 56, of Lumberton, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.  She was born in Cumberland County, NC on August 5, 1967 to the late Van C. "Zebbie" Miller and the late Myrtle Baxley Miller.  Karen was previously employed with the University of North Carolina at Pembroke as a Student Accounts Specialist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Chester Stuart Miller and her godson, Nicholas Cody Tyner.

She leaves behind her siblings, Ronnie J. Miller of Lumberton and Jeffrey V. Miller (Pamela) of St. Pauls; a niece, Brittany Miller of St. Pauls; and her best friend, Traci Jolly Edwards (Russell) of Jefferson County, SC.

A time of visitation on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 4:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Pastor Jeff Broadwell officiating.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.
