Mrs. Karabeth Ann Hammonds, age 75, of Hope Mills, NC, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026. She was born in Robeson County, NC on January 18, 1951 to the late R.T. Sanderson and the late Christine Sanderson.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernice Hammonds, and three brothers: Stafford Sanderson, James Sanderson, and Darryl Sanderson.

She is survived by her son, Paul Kelley (Kimberly) of Hope Mills, NC; four grandchildren: Cortney Savo (Ray), Steven Kelley, Kayla Cifers (Michael), and Arlie Kelley; four great-grandchildren: Riley Savo, Arya Savo, Korbin Kelley, and Kaia Cifers; a brother, Luther Sanderson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 N. Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC with Rev. Michael Bowen officiating.
