Mr. Kale Mitchell of Fairmont, was a well-known brick mason of Robeson County for over 45 years has gone on to be with the Lord. He was born December 18, 1946 in Lumberton, and departed this life on Thursday, July 24, 2025 making his journey of 78 years.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years Mrs. Mary L. Mitchell; an infant son, Master Kelvin Mitchell; his parents, Cisero Mitchell and Ethel Mae Hunt Mitchell; five brothers, James Mitchell, Richard Mitchell, Vernell Mitchell, Clemon Mitchell and Daniel Mitchell; three sisters, Sarah Jane Oxendine, Lola Hunt, and Flora Margaret Spaulding.

He leaves to cherish his memories a son, Gregory Mitchell (Betty) of Fairmont; three grandchildren, Sarah Mitchell (Justin), Destiny Mitchell, and Samuel Mitchell, all of Fairmont; one brother, David Mitchell (Donna) of Rowland; four sisters-in-laws, Myrtle Lewis, Phyllis Oxendine (Vernell), Betsy Jones (Joseph), and Mary Mitchell all of Rowland, ; three brothers-in-laws, John Locklear (Lola), of Greenville, NC, Joseph Locklear (Debbie) of Copperas Cove, TX., and Sylvester "Buddy" Hunt of Rowland, and a host of special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A time of visitation will be held Sunday July 27, 2025 from 2:00-3:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road. Fairmont.

Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00PM in the chapel.

Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 207 Industrial Drive, Fairmont.
