Julius Tyner, 85, of 101 East Avenue, died Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at Southeastern Hospice
House. He was born to the late Sam and Martha Stephens Tyner on February 19, 1923 in
Robeson County.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Louise C. Tyner; his daughter, Vivian T. Wilkins;
and two sisters, Sarah Parker and Cleo Barnes.
He is survived by his son, Kenneth J. Tyner and wife, Yvonne F. Tyner of Lumberton; two
daughters, Linda T. Davis and Delma Anchors and husband, Randy both of Lumberton; 5
grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 1 great-greatgrandchild.
The fuenral service will be Friday, January 23, 2009 at Floyd Memorial Chapel at 2:00 P.M.
with Revs. Tony Stevens and Mark Meadows officiating.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 22, 2009 from 7 to 9 P.M. at Floyd
Mortuary & Crematory, Inc and other times at Delma Anchors home, 261 Todd Farm Rd.,
Lumberton, NC.
