Julia Pittman McLean, age 31, died on Monday, May 23, 2016 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center in Whiteville, NC.  She was born in Robeson County, NC on July 8, 1984 to John Purcell and Ellen Pittman McLean.  She was the owner/operator of Miriam's Gifts.  Julia had a great love for wild life and animals of all kinds.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dr. Rowland and Miriam Hartley Pittman, and paternal grandparents, John Luther and Isabelle Gray McLean.

She is survived by her parents; a brother, John P. McLean, Jr. and a sister, Miriam Hartley McLean; a niece, Julian Pendleton McLean, and a nephew, John Howard McLean, all of the home; special friends, Allie and Terran; and a host of friends and extended family.

A private service will be planned for a later date.
