Judy Bowen Leggett, age 60, of Lumberton, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. She was born in Bladen County on September 17, 1950 to the late P.M. Bowen and Lucy Conner Bowen.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Leggett is survived by her husband, William C. Leggett of the home; a son, Brad Leggett of the home; a daughter, Shannon Leggett of the home; a brother, Danny Bowen of Tar Heel; a sister, Patsy Rhodes of Bladenboro and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 7:00PM at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Meadows officiating.

A visitation will follow the services at the church.
