Ms. Judith Dianne Hunt, 69, of Fairmont, NC, was born on July 24, 1954. She went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton.

She was preceded in death by her biological father, Mr. Adnel Clark; her adoptive father, Mr. Edgar Hunt; her biological mother, Mrs. Allie Retha Hunt; three brothers: Mr. James E. Hunt, Mr. Nelson Eddy Hunt, and Mr. Larry Hunt, and one sister, Mrs. Ernestine "Tina" Hunt Talley.

To cherish her memories, Ms. Hunt leaves her husband, Mr. David Moreno, and their dog, Reno Moreno, of the home; one son, Mr. Kenneth Eugene Dixon, Jr. and his wife of Lumberton, NC; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Ms. Dianne is remembered for her honesty and exceptional work ethic in everything she did. As well as, her love for all things strawberry, M&M's, bells, and "The Wizard of Oz" as known by all who knew her. During her adulthood, she owned and operated her own construction company for 17 years before moving on to work with the Lumberton Housing Authority for over 13 and a half years. Ms. Hunt continued to expand her horizons by joining the team of Terry Pate Home Sales for 8 years where she operated the company to its highest standard and success. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and person who will be greatly missed.
