Ms. Judith F. Gore, 79, formerly of Lumberton, NC, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022, in Millinocket, ME. She was born in Lumberton, NC on January 3, 1943, to the late Marie Stanton Gore and the late Barcy Gore.

Judy graduated from Lumberton High School in 1961, eventually relocating to Maine as a photographer. Upon graduation from the University of Maine with a degree in business administration, she became a Senior Bank Examiner for the state of Maine.

She was devoted to her lifelong friend and companion, Minerva Proctor, who preceded her in death in 2017.

In addition to her parents and Minerva, Judy was preceded in death by a sister, Jackie Inman, and a brother, John Gore.

Judy is survived by her sister, Karen Gore of Fayetteville, NC; Minerva's niece, Sharon Darling and husband Tom of Millinocket, ME; and her North Carolina extended family.

A memorial service and interment was conducted on Thursday, May 12, 2022, in Millinocket, ME.

Placement in the family site of Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, NC will take place on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 1:00 PM.
