Juda Faye Hardin Walters, age 86, of Orrum, NC passed away Monday, May 18, 2026 at McLeod of Dillon, SC.

She was born September 21, 1939 in Robeson County to the late James Hardin and the late Helen Walters Hardin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Walters; a son, James Emory Walters; two sisters, Vivian Martin and Sandra Lane.

Ms. Juda worked with the Robeson County School System as a teacher's assistant; she loved working with the children at Barnesville Baptist Church where she was a life-long member. She also loved the church family at Orrum Baptist Church. She was a people person; she never met a stranger and always had a smile on her face.

She is survived by a son, Charles Walters (Regina) of Orrum; three daughters, Juliann Locklear of Fairmont, Tara Strickland (Martinis) of Orrum and Janet Morgan (Danny Scott) of Lumberton; one brother, Louie Hardin of Chadbourn; one sister, Patricia Herring of Richmond, VA.; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one special great-grandson, Watson; a daughter-in-law, Jamie Walters of Orrum and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont.

The funeral will be Friday, May 22, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Barnesville Baptist Church, 234 Barnesville Church Road, Orrum. Burial will follow in the Barnesville Baptist Church Cemetery.
