Juanita Coleman Britt, age 77, of Lumberton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice LifeCare in Whiteville.  She was born in Robeson County, NC on August 7, 1946 to the late H.B. Coleman and the late Maxine Coleman.  Juanita was a longtime member of Antioch Baptist Church where she served as secretary for thirty-five years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wesley Britt, Sr.; her son, Chuck Britt and her sister, Bobbi Coleman Hales.

Juanita is survived by her son, Jeff Britt (Leslie) of Lumberton; two grandchildren, Noah Chuck Britt and Charlie Elizabeth Britt; two sister-in-laws, Jewell Spence and Coleen Bullock (David); her  brother-in-law, Terry Barfield; special caregivers, Joann Dudney and Teresa Wiggins; special friend, Jennifer Stubbs and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 11:00AM at Floyd Memory Gardens in Lumberton with Pastor Mark Meadows officiating.  A time of visitation will follow at the graveside.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 6:00PM at Antioch Baptist Church in Lumberton.
