Joyce Anderson Floyd, 88, of Lumberton, NC passed away peacefully at home and went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 23rd, 2024.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Clyde Anderson and and Minnie B Tyson, and two brothers, Charles Anderson and Cecil Anderson.

Joyce was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and especially great-grandmother and was lovingly known as "Bomba" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Above all else she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She is survived by three generations of family. Her children: Mark A Floyd, Randy W Floyd, Terri Thompson (Danny), Timothy E Floyd, Lisa Floyd Tyson, and Beverly Cox (Danny). Her grandchildren: Dustin Floyd, Aly Floyd, Joni Thomas (Jody), Jonathan Humphrey (Casson), Jacob Humphrey (Ashley), Tori Thompson, Danny Hardin (Shanna), Ashley Parnell (Todd), Matthew Cox, and Megan Cox. Her great-grandchildren: Greyson Floyd, Spencer Floyd, Dylan Thomas, Logan Thomas, Ethan Thomas, Elliott Humphrey, Lizzie Humphrey, Carly Humphrey, Hannah Humphrey, Emalen Hardin, and Sydney Russ.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 3:00PM at Floyd Memory Gardens with Rev. Cole Dellinger officiating. A time of visitation will follow at the graveside.
