Joseph (Joe) Daniel Pittman, age 64, of Lumberton, NC passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. He was born in Robeson County, NC on March 3, 1950 to Roland Pittman, Jr. and Winnie Price Pittman both of Lumberton. Along with his parents Mr. Pittman is survived by his four sisters, Deborah Williams and husband, Thomas of Lumberton, Jonia Smith and husband, Russ of Wilmington, Connie Lattie and husband, Rod of Leland, and Martha Parker and husband, Roger of Lumberton; and four beloved nieces and two nephews. A visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Singletary Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Singletary Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Williford, Jr. and Rev. Russell Kinlaw, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to be made to Southeastern Hospice House, 1100 Pine Run Drive, Lumberton, NC 28358.
