Joseph Daniel Morris, Jr., age 69, of Lumberton, NC died on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Highland Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lumberton. He was born in Dillion County, SC on October 23, 1942 to the late Joseph Daniel Morris, Sr. and the late Ruby Johnson Morris. He previously worked in the textile industry.

Mr. Morris is survived by two daughters, Lorrie Lewis and Sheila Perez and husband Benny both of Lumberton; a brother, Larry Morris of Orrum; a sister Kay Knight of Bennettsville, SC; two grandsons, Kevin Morris and Keith Morris both of Lumberton and one great-grandson, Gabriel Hunt of Lumberton.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 7:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jeff Broadwell and Rev. Brian Perry officiating. A time for visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 PM prior to the service.
