Joseph Cosimo Mollo, age 72, of St. Pauls, NC passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Nassau County, NY on June 13, 1942 to the late Leonard and Wanda Poplowski Mollo. He previously worked as Public Works Director for the Town of St. Pauls. Mr. Mollo is survived by his wife, Ida Mollo of the home; sons, Michael Mollo and wife Brenda of Lumberton and Leonard Mollo and wife Kerry of Ft. Collins, CO; daughters, JoAnn Hucks and husband Joey of Lumberton, Stephanie Atkinson and husband William of Lumberton, and Brenda Ganus and husband David of Laurinburg; brothers, Leonard Mollo of Smith Mountain Lake, VA and Louis Mollo of Levitown, NY; sister, Patricia Mazza of Tampa, NY; grandchildren, Selena Locklear, Joey Brandon Hucks, Nikki Coleman, Brandy Owens, Madison Atkinson, Morgan Mollo, Taylor Mollo, Savannah Hannah, and John Hannah, Joseph Mollo, and Gavin Bullard; and fourteen great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 4:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Larry Lowery officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00-4:00 PM prior to the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Society, 722 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231.
