Joseph "Joe" Levis White, Jr.

Mr. Joseph “Joe” Levis White, Jr., passed away on October 24, 2026. He was born to the late Joseph Levis and Mary Boykin White on March 11, 1945. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Pam Porter.

Joe was the owner of Joe White and Associates in Lumberton, NC.

He had a well – established practice for over 50 years, through which he faithfully served his local community.

He leaves his practice in the well – deserving, capable hands of Anna Freeman, his niece and associate for 22 years.

Joe is survived by his wife, Peggy White; his son, Seth White (Jodie Peele and son Jackson) of Lumberton NC; his daughter, Sara Beth White of Richmond, VA.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the Church Sanctuary at Chestnut Street Methodist Church, in Lumberton, NC. Following the Visitation, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM at Chestnut Street Methodist Church, in Lumberton, NC.

The family will have a private burial which will take place at Gardens of Faith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Home Society of Greensboro, NC; to the Man in the Mirror, PO Box 14608 Greensboro NC 27415; or to a charity of your choice.
