Mr. Joseph Kenneth Hardin, 86, of 2352 Tobacco Rd, Fairmont, NC passed away November 4,
2021. Ken was born on September 8, 1935 in Robeson County to Wilbur Nash and Mary
Sealey Hardin. The youngest of ten boys, whose parents died when he was three years old,
went on to live with a special uncle and aunt - Albert and Bertha Sealey Hardin.

Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Ivey Hardin. Also, his parents, Uncle Albert &
Aunt Bertha and brothers Rudolph, Herbert, Morris, Ray, Herman, Wilton, Lester and Romalus.

He is survived by his son, Joey Hardin of the home, his daughter, Lisa Hardin Smith (Danny
Ray) of North Myrtle Beach, SC and grandson, Nash Weatherman (Helen Grace) of Southport,
NC. He is also survived by his brother, Wilbur (Doris) and a host of relatives and friends.

Ken was a retired farmer and tobacco warehouseman. After his retirement, he enjoyed
spending time at his vacation home in the Cherry Grove section of North Myrtle Beach, SC.

A graveside service will be on Monday, November 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Floyd Memorial Cemetery,
1549 Marion Stage Rd, Fairmont, NC. The family will receive guests at the home. In lieu of
flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda United Methodist Church, 4413
Leggett Rd, Fairmont, NC
