Jonathan Erik Bass, 26, of Lumberton, NC, died Sunday, March 6, 2022, in Lumberton, NC. He was born in Lumberton, NC at Southeastern Hospital on December 4, 1995. He was currently enrolled at Robeson Community College as a Culinary Arts student.

Jonathan was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lumberton where he served as an acolyte for many years. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 301 where he attained the rank of Eagle Scout. He respected and admired all his troop leaders even when he was just "being Jonathan." He also had a great love for animals.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Vanty Lamb; his uncle, James Vanty "Van" Lamb II; his paternal grandfather, James Alfred Bass; and his father, Glenn Franklin Bass.

He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Lamb; his Nana, Betty Lamb; his paternal grandmother, Ingrid Bass; his brother, Joshua Bass; his aunt, Lynne Hicks; his cousins, Mackenzie and Christian Lamb; his girlfriend, Cindy Diaz; and his faithful companions, Milo and Kenzie.

A small private service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church Columbarium on Sunday, March 13, 2022.
