Johnny Ray Stone, 70, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

In his spare time, he loved to go fishing and build model cars and just work with his hands. He tried many lines of work but found a home in farming.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Stone and Margaret Sellers; and a sister, Faye Buie.

He is survived by two sons, Johnny Ray Stone, Jr. and wife Jamie of Bladenboro and Johnny Ray Stone, III of Thomasville, NC; a daughter, Jennifer Stone and husband, Franco; two brothers, Royce Stone and wife, Debbie and Mickey Stone and wife Regina, all of Thomasville, NC; sisters, Pat Floyd of Lumberton, Joyce Davis of Thomasville, Bonnie Moore of Trinity, NC, and Deborah Stone of Nakina, NC; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Saturday April 26, 2025 at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton, NC.
