Johnny Wade Nobles, Sr.'s Obituary
Johnny Wade Nobles, Sr., age 75, of Lumberton, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018. He was born July 8, 1943 in Robeson County to the late Wade Nobles and the late Grace Britt Nobles. He was the founder and owner of Johnny W. Nobles & Associates land surveying company.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Prevatte Nobles of the home; his children: Johnny W. Nobles, Jr. and wife Sheila of Lumberton, Cindy Nobles Pittman and husband Vance of Lumberton, and Angie Nobles Peterson and husband Steve of Garland; three grandchildren: Johna D. Pittman, LeeAnn Nobles, and Craig Peterson; and one sister, Mary Francis Wingrove of Tampa, FL.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 8, 2018, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at 3:00 PM at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton with Pastor Mark Meadows officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gibson Cancer Center, 1200 Pine Run Drive, Lumberton, NC 28358.
