Johnny Carrol Hester's Obituary
Johnny Carrol Hester, age 69, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. He was born April 29, 1948 in Robeson County to the late Washington Roosevelt and Erma Joyce Pridgen Hester.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Simmons Hester of the home; his children: John Hester of Dacula, GA, Tara Hester Knecht and husband Phillip of Lumberton, Matthew Hester and wife Kayla of Lumberton, and Adam Hester of Boulder, CO; seven grandchildren: Leynie and Luke Hester, Alayna, Addison, and Easton Knecht, and Alyssa and Bryson Hester; one sister, Vickie Hester Walters and husband Jimmy of Lumberton; and the family pet, Doc.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday, December 3, 2017, from 2:00-3:00 PM at West Lumberton Baptist Church.
Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM with Rev. Rick Foreman officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
