Johnny P. Britt, age 69, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. He was born in Robeson County, NC on March 3, 1954 to the late Perry & Emma Britt. As a career mechanic, he enjoyed working on cars and race cars.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Morris Britt, Jimmy Britt, and James Britt; his sisters, Jean Nobles and Betty Taylor.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Powell Britt of the home; his sons, John Britt and wife Alicia and Anthony Lee Britt, all of Lumberton, NC; his daughters, Michelle Miller and husband Richard of Fairmont, NC; his grandchildren: Tyler, Dustin, Zachary, and Kholden; two great-grandchildren; his sister, Sue Simmons of Rowland, NC; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of John & Alicia Britt, 1786 NC Hwy 41 S. in Lumberton, NC.

A time of visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC, with Rev. Richard Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
