Johnny Max Adcox, age 65, of Lumberton, died Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham. He was preceded in death by his parents Johnnie and Mary Adcox. He is survived by a sister, Linda Stansel and her husband, Ronnie, of Lumberton, two nephews Paul Stansel and his wife, Mercy Cannon, of Clarksville, TN and Joseph Stansel, of Wilmington, NC, a great nephew, Cannon Stansel, and a great niece, Amelia Stansel, and many cousins.
