Mr. Johnnie Carroll Phillips, age 66, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Regency Hospital of Florence, SC. He was born in Robeson County, NC on June 14, 1954 to the late R. Thomas Phillips and to Carolyn Ann Simmons Phillips.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Rice Phillips.

He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Phillips of the home; two sons, John Shannon Phillips and Thomas Michael Phillips (Jerri), both of Lumberton, NC; six grandchildren: Brian Austin Phillips, Madison Phillips, Kristina Phillips, Kristopher Phillips, K'Anna Phillips, and Sara Phillips; one great-granddaughter, Nala Rayne Oxendine; his mother-in-law, Marjorie Rice of Lumberton, NC; and his fur baby, Master Scooter Phillips.

A private graveside service will be held at Floyd Memory Gardens with Rev. Johnny Bruce officiating.
