John "Johnny" Walker Wallace, Jr.'s Obituary
John "Johnny" Walker Wallace, Jr., 61, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016. He was born in Richmond County on December 31, 1954 to the late Rev. John Walker Wallace, Sr. and Mrs. Nancy L. Wallace. He will be remembered for his many years of teaching within the public school system.
He was also preceded in death by his father and his wife Susan Jackson Wallace.
He is survived by his mother; one daughter, Christy Rose Wallace and husband Phillip Chapman II of Charlotte; one sister, Faith Wallace Jackson and husband Jimmy of Lumberton; three nieces and nephews: Laney McPhaul of Durham, Trey Jackson of Chapel Hill, and Taylor Jackson of Chapel Hill; and a host of friends and extended family members.
A time of visitation will take place prior to the service on Saturday, December 10, 2016, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.
Following the visitation a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Dr. David Elk and Dr. Jerry Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery.
