John Pinkney Taylor, Jr.'s Obituary
John Pinkney Taylor, Jr., age 54, of Fayetteville, formerly of Lumberton, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Cumberland County on January 31, 1958 to the late John P. Taylor, Sr. and the late Elizabeth Ann Britt Taylor.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Marie Porter Taylor of the home; his daughter, Heather Taylor of Fayetteville, NC; his sister, Wanda Taylor Brown of Fayetteville, NC and two grandchildren, Ethan Jones and Noah Jones.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at 2:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. Gary Horne and Pastor Robert Peterson officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery in Lumberton.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:00PM on Tuesday at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.
