John Standing \\"Jack\\" Pait, Jr., 69, of 402 Lakeside Drive, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Duke University Medical Center. He was born to John Standing Pait, Sr. and Clara Biggs Pait on May 27, 1937 in Robeson County.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Standing Pait, Sr.
He is survived by his 4 sons, John Pait, III and wife, Melody of Lumberton, David Pait and wife, Allison of Greenville, SC, Cameron Pait and wife, Keri of Apex, NC and Travis Pait and wife, Elizabeth of Lumberton; 1 daughter, Terrell Cole and husband, Steve of Lumberton; 2 brothers, Andy Pait of Shallotte, NC and Ron Pait of Lumberton; 1 sister, Shirley Johnson of Lumberton; and 9 grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 6, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.
