John Henry Hickman, 79, of 508 Inglewood Avenue, died Saturday, February 2, 2008 at
Southeastern Hospice House. He was born to the late James Curtis Hickman and Mattie
Pridgen Hickman on October 3, 1928 in Robeson County, NC. Mr. Hickman worked with
Pepsi Cola Company for 34 years and he also served as an Ordained Deacon.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Ricky Hickman.
He is survived by his wife, Cletus N. Hickman of the home; 1 daughter, Susan H.
Walker and husband, Glenn of Lumberton; 5 grandchildren, Brian Walker and wife,
Crystal of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, Kevin Walker, Matthew Walker of Lumberton, NC,
Adam and Holly Hickman of Lewisville, NC; and 1 great grandson, Tylan Walker.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at Floyd Memorial Chapel at
11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Dennis Harrell and Rev. Jackie Spillers officiating.
The family will receive friends Monday, February 4, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Floyd
Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.
