He was preceded in death by a son, Wally Floyd.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Wilcox Floyd of the home; a sister, Frances Floyd Jenkins (Raybon); children, John Floyd, Les Floyd (Jane), Connie Floyd Sciolino (Joe), and Beverly Cox (Danny); a step-daughter, Terri Thompson (Danny); six grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and five step-grandchildren and three great-step-grandchildren.

A memorial celebration will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton with Tom Powell officiating.
