John Henry Bullock, Jr., 78, of 1136 Beulah Church Road in Lumberton, NC died May 16, 2009 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC. He was born on September 3, 1930 to John Henry Bullock, Sr. and Madeline Smith in Robeson County, NC.

Mr. Bullock was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Davis Bullock.

He is survived by one daughter, Peggy Bullock Wilkins and husband, Johnny of Hamer, SC; one sister, Pauline Floyd of Orrum, NC; two grandchildren, John Bullock and Johnny Cole Wilkins; three great-grandchildren, Summer Davis, Whitney Bullock and Jonathan Bullock.

A graveside service will be held at Clewis Family Cemetery at 1080 Beulah Church Road on Wednesday May 20, 2009 at 2:00 PM with the Reverend Mark Meadows officiating.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC and other times at the home of grandson, John Bullock, 1180 Beulah Church Road, Lumberton, NC.
