Mrs. Jodie Lynn Greenwood Gurganus, age 51, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021, at her home. She was born in Robeson County, NC on April 20, 1970.

She is survived by her parents, James and Vivian Greenwood, both of Lumberton, NC; her husband, Clark Gurganus of the home; a son, Alex Phelps of Lumberton, NC; a daughter, Tyler Strickland and husband Matthew of Council, NC; a stepson, Scott Gurganus and wife Annie of New Bern, NC; a stepdaughter, Candice Gurganus of Wilmington, NC; a brother, Philip Steffes and husband Hildegardo of Charlotte, NC; 5 sisters: Sandy Read and husband Kevin of Hope Mills, NC, Karol Sykes and Lisa Steffes, both of Lumberton, NC, Becky Roberts and husband Colon of Tar Heel, NC, and Jamie Parker of Myrtle Beach, SC; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday, August 1, 2021, from 3:00-4:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM with Dr. Rudy Sheppard officiating.
