Jo Ann Roach's Obituary
Jo Ann Grubbs Roach, age 80, of Lumberton, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018, at her home. She was born July 3, 1937 in Moore County to the late Glenn William Grubbs and the late Edna Treadway Grubbs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tommy Anderson Roach, Sr.; and a sister, Peggy Robinson.
She is survived by her children: Tommy Anderson Roach, Jr. (Jennifer) of Lumberton, Greg Roach of Clayton, and Kathy Roach (Danny) of Lumberton; three grandchildren: Kelci Roach, Justin Roach, and Keaton Anderson; and two brothers: Glenn Grubbs, Jr. of Pinehurst and Don Grubbs of Rockingham.
The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Sunday, April 8, 2018, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.
Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM in the Chapel with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating. Burial will follow at Alloway Cemetery in Red Springs, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southeastern Hospice, 2002 N. Cedar Street, Lumberton, NC 28358, or to Godwin Heights Baptist Church, 704 Godwin Avenue, Lumberton, NC 28358.
