James "Jimmy" Ray Stout, 72, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. He was born in Bladen County, NC on November 26, 1949 to the late Donald & Katie Stout.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Regina Rose Skipper Stout.

Together with his wife, Jimmy enjoyed traveling as they shared the gospel through song and praise. Jimmy was employed for many years at Jasper Mills and he was also a longtime member of Antioch Baptist Church in Lumberton, NC.

Jimmy is survived by his mother-in-law, Helen Skipper, as well as numerous bothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

The family will be receiving friends and loved ones at various times at the home of Helen Skipper, 199 Beulah Church Road in Lumberton, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC, with Pastor Blake Dodd and Rev. Mark Meadows officiating. Following the service, there will be a time of visitation with the family at the graveside.
