Mr. Jimmy Ray Martin, Jr., age 53, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born in Robeson County, NC on February 7, 1970 to the late Jimmy Ray Martin and Annie Louise Martin.  He worked as an OTR truck driver, most recently with Crete Carriers.

He is preceded in death by father, Jimmy Ray Martin; his paternal grandparents, Olive McLean Martin and Curtis and Marion Lindell Martin; His maternal grandparents, Sadie Blackwell and Vernon Blackwell; and brothers-in-law, Robert Hartwell and Kenneth Pittman.

He is survived by his mother, Annie Louise Martin of Lumberton; his sisters, Cynthia Hartwell and Sandra Pittman both of Lumberton and Tammy Levesque (Christian) of Woodbridge, VA; and his nieces and nephews: Brandee Boren (Ray), Matthew Lovette, Marissa Jefferson (Nickolas), Austin Green, Megan Watson, and Ashlyn Ulrich.  He also has 7 great-nieces and 8 great-nephews.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Trinity Holiness Church, 4650 Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Trinity Holiness Church, 4650 Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
